The Grid Edge Innovation Showcase is an opportunity for leading solutions providers in the utilities industry to demonstrate innovative ways in which they are shaping the future of the smart grid. This one-day event will highlight new technology applications and business models that are currently in-market and focus on the grid edge.

The event is comprised of two parts. The morning will allow invited companies to showcase their solutions and discuss how they are being used in-market by utilities to support the grid edge. Companies will present for approximately 10-15 minutes each. In the afternoon, select guests will listen in on an innovation roundtable hosted by Southern Company and participate in a more intimate discussion with the Department of Energy about grid edge challenges and opportunities.
